Description
Designed from the origin of the “people’s car”, this convertible was ready in 1939. Its release finally took place in 1949, four years after the start of production of the “sedan”. Super Beetle was the name of the 1302 used in the United States from 1970. Contrary to what is written on the box, this model was produced before 1973, since the windshield is still flat.
