Volkswagen devised the “people’s car” convertible version from the beginning, and was ready to launch it in 1939. Produced by Karmann, it was finally released in 1949, four years after the sedan. Here we have the 1970 version of the 1302, which received technical and practical updates. More precisely, this is a 1972 model year.
