Description
This famous pickup truck, popular in many countries in Asia and Africa, appeared in Toyota’s line-up in 1968. The 1997 four-door version we have here belongs to the fifth generation, released in 1988. Similar to the 4Runner of the time (called Hilux Surf in Japan), this Hilux was also marketed for a while under the Volkswagen Taro name.
