Banshee is a line of concept cars from 1964 to 1988. Pontiac retroactively gave this name to the first of them. Here we have the first model of the series, produced in two variants: a coupé equipped with a 6-cylinder engine and a V8 convertible (shown here). The project was abandoned, but General Motors used this design for the 3rd-generation Corvette and for the Opel GT.
