Description
Launched in 1975, the 604 wanted to be the French Mercedes. Clearly, the objective was commercially unsuccessful. But the 604, like the Mercedes W123, also offered a limousine variant, developed by the French coachbuilder Heuliez, from the end of 1978. The wheelbase was increased from 2.80 m to 3.42 m (110 to 135 in.) and the overall length from 4.72 m to 5.34 m (186 to 210 in.).
