Description
The 1979 model year was the first front-wheel drive Kadett. In Great-Britain, where its name was formerly Vauxhall Chevette, it became … the Astra. The German version Kadett SR was easily recognizable thanks to these beautiful specific rims, black fender extensions, and front and rear spoilers. But the 1.3 (75 hp) and 1.6 (90 hp) engines were borrowed from the rest of the range.
