The (third generation) Kadett “C”, introduced in the summer of 1973, is a global car. Sold by Vauxhall as the Chevette, it was also available in the United States, Brazil and Australia, Japan (as the Isuzu Gemini) and Korea (as a Daewoo). This two-door variant represented, for Opel, 46% of the 1.7 million Kadetts sold until 1979.
