The Mercedes “S” Series was born in 1926. Starting in 1928, il also became SS (for Supersport) and SSK (“kurz”, short in German). This 4-seater version, signed IXO Museum, is not, of course, the short version, with its endless hood which hid a in-line 6 cylinder 7.1 liter engine (developing 225 hp with a supercharger). This is a 1933 model, the penultimate year of its production.
