Description
As a preamble to the series of C111 experimental concept cars, Mercedes-Benz tested, in 1969, the rotary piston engine (used on the first C111s) in 1969. This prototype remained long unknown… Its design is more rustic than that of the C111 concepts but its three-disc block already takes up the principle of the engine developed by Félix Wankel.
