Description
In the 1990s, upsizing was still preferred to downsizing! In early 1991, the top-of-the-range 500 E version of the Mercedes-Benz W124, the successor to the W123 at the end of 1984, received a naturally-aspirated 5-litre V8. Developed with Porsche, this “super” large family car borrows its engine from the 500 SL roadster and delivers 326 hp.
