Description
Launched in 1951, the 300 Type W186 is the first post-war German luxury sedan. In a sense, it was the ancestor of the S-Class. This model was renamed 300b in March 1954, then 300c in September 1955 and finally 300d in 1957, under the designation “W189”. Here we have a 1952 model year, still devoid of any window deflectors. Reproduced in dark red since May 2021.
