In 1954, the impressive Mk VII, launched in 1950, became Mark VIIM and slightly changed: the “wrap-around” bumpers were extended further on the sides, horn grilles appeared on the front and the 3.4-litre inline 6-cylinder developed 190 hp instead of 160. This “Metallic Claret” version, whose registration number is 464HYV, is a bit special because the Queen of England bought it in 1955.
