DKW was part of Auto Union Group, and became a West German brand in 1949 while IFA went to former East Germany with a twin model. The front-wheel drive F93, launched in 1955, was an updated version of the F91. Here we have an F94 produced from February 1957 (recognizable by its new fine-meshed front grille). NEO reproduced here the station wagon, called Universal, explaining the name F94U.
