This British roadster, whose origins date back to 1953, became an authentic sports car in 1962, after the intervention of the American pilot Carroll Shelby (who died in 2012). The AC was then renamed Cobra and first received a Ford 4.2-litre V8 (260 ci) and a 4.7-litre (289 ci) from 1963, on the version here reproduced by Norev in 1:18 scale. From 1965, the engine was a 7-litre (427 ci).
