The TV show Knight Rider was broadcasted from 1982 in the United States. The main character was a Pontiac Firebird Trans Am (1982 model year), nicknamed KITT. The car was intelligent, full of gadgets like James Bond’s Aston Martins, and as performing as a Batmobile. Needless to say that the 5-liter V8 (145 hp) of the original model was here boosted to reach its maximum speed (322 km/h, 200 mph).

The C28 project should have become the Talbot Arizona. But Talbot being bankrupt, this model was integrated into Peugeot’s range. Baptized 309, the car was released in 1985. For 1987, this punchy GTI received the 1.9-litre (130 hp) borrowed from the sparkling 205 GTI. Here we have the first series, before the 309 was restyled, in summer 1989.

The first-generation 900, released in 1978 and descending directly from the 99, was replaced in 1994 by a second version developed with Opel. But the model reproduced here is a 100% Saab product. According to Norev, this most famous variant, the three-door 900 Turbo, is a 1991 model year, equipped with a cylinder head with 16 valves, which allows it to develop 175 hp, then later 185 hp.

Citroën GT by Citroën 2008 white (Norev) 1:18

First imagined "virtually" to appear in video games, the GT by Citroen became a "real" car at the 2008 Paris Motor Show. This concept car of a supercar first unveiled in white, then in red, was equipped with a V8 borrowed from Jaguar. For a while, Citroën thought about manufacturing a handful of units which could be sold at a price elitist, and then abandoned.
