The high-performance version of the A6 range was first released in 2002. The second generation, released between 2008 and 2010, was equipped with a V10, replaced again by a V8 from 2013. Minichamps reproduces here the fourth-generation RS6, launched in 2019, exclusively available in station wagon since the previous model, this time equipped with a 600 hp twin-turbo 4-litre.

Opel produced three generations of Ascona between 1970 and 1988, when this sedan gave way to the Vectra. Here we have a first-gen 80 hp 1.6-litre 2-door Ascona, launched at the very end of 1970, just after the Manta coupe which shared the same platform. The Ascona was also available in four-door sedan and three-door station wagon.

The (third generation) Kadett "C", introduced in the summer of 1973, is a global car. Sold by Vauxhall as the Chevette, it was also available in the United States, Brazil and Australia, Japan (as the Isuzu Gemini) and Korea (as a Daewoo). This two-door variant represented, for Opel, 46% of the 1.7 million Kadetts sold until 1979.

Launched in 1968 and succeeding the 2000 CS coupe with a bigger engine and a modernized silhouette, the 2800 CS is the predecessor of the first-gen 6 Series, which will be released in 1976. In March 1971, the 2800 CS coupe becomes this 3.0 CS, whose rebored 6-cylinder engine is no longer a 168 hp 2.8-litre but a 180 hp 3-litre. A CSi injection version is also available.
