Banshee is a line of concept cars from 1964 to 1988. Pontiac retroactively gave this name to the first of them. Here we have the first model of the series, produced in two variants: a coupé equipped with a 6-cylinder engine and a V8 convertible (shown here). The project was abandoned, but General Motors used this design for the 3rd-generation Corvette and for the Opel GT.

Since the early 1940s, the 61 Series had been Cadillac's lowest-priced product. This 1951 model year receives the 160 hp 5.4-litre V8 that was shared by the whole range, but was based on the shorter wheelbase. Not so many customers were convinced by its arguments at the time, which makes it a rare model today. That year, only 2,300 sedans were produced.

The Fairlane launched in Ford’s American range from 1955 was immediately successful: 626,000 units produced in the first year, and 19,000 more in 1956. The range includes many variations, but the rarest version is this Crown Victoria, a trim level, which later became a full-fledged production vehicle. Only 1,999 units of this glass roof variant were made that same year.

The Blazer 4x4 joined the Chevrolet range in 1969, followed by a rear-wheel drive version from 1970. The second generation, released in 1973, is reproduced here. Between 1976 and 1977, Chevrolet converted the Blazer into a camper called Chalet. This version is rare, since it is estimated that only 1,700 to 1,800 units were sold.
