This brand was operating at its full capacity when the Czech Republic and Slovakia were one country, Czechoslovakia. The manufacture of automobiles disappeared in 1998, but Tatra still produces trucks. The T148, an updated T138, received a 12.7-litre diesel engine and was produced from 1972 to 1982. This 1976 version, used by the police, is equipped with water hoses.

This famous Czechoslovak brand used to produce cars which have all become classics of automobile history. Unveiled in late 1947 in Prague, the 600 is called Tatraplan, referring at the time to the planned economy of the Eastern Europe countries. As usual with Tatra, aerodynamics dictated the spectacular design. The engine, a 4-cylinder, is rear-mounted.

This brand was operating at its full capacity when the Czech Republic and Slovakia were one country, Czechoslovakia. The manufacture of automobiles disappeared in 1998, but Tatra still produces trucks. This T148 dump truck, a modernized version of the T138 released in 1959, was produced from 1972 to 1982. Equipped with a 12.7-litre diesel V8, it was available in 4x4 or, like here, 6x6.
