Plymouth Road Runner Rapid Transit (Avenue 43) 1:43

Plymouth Fury 1958 (NEO) 1:43

Plymouth, a brand of the Chrysler Group founded in 1928 and defunct in 2001, used the name Fury for the first time in 1956. In 1958, like in the early stages, the range only offered a single body, a hardtop coupe (reproduced here). That same year, 5,303 units were produced. The following year, production of Furys will increase to 65,000 cars, available with three different bodies.

Plymouth Valiant Wagon (NEO) 1:43

Released in 1960, the Valiant, first as simply the “Valiant”, was integrated, the following year, into the Plymouth range. Thanks to its original design and "compact" size (4.67 m/184 in.), this model was rather successful, even in Europe. Unfortunately, its style became more banal after 1963. Here we have the wagon variant of the most interesting version, that of the first year.

Plymouth Belvedere Convertible 1958 (NEO) 1:43

The Plymouth range changed so often in the 1950s, with models close to each other, that it is easy to get lost. This is clearly the case for NEO, since the model car manufacturer assumes that we have here a 1958 Fury Convertible. However, the Fury came in convertible in 1959 under the name Sport Fury with an updated design. This is rather a 1958 Belvedere convertible.
