This company, located in Ukraine, was founded by the USSR on August 8, 1945 and started building bridges. The Central Committee of the Communist Party turned it into a truck manufacturer from 1958. This brand still exists. This 14.9-litre 6-cylinder KrAZ 214 was produced from 1956 under the brand YaMZ and from 1959 by KrAZ, until 1967, when it was replaced by the 255.
