Unveiled in 1976, designed by Giugiaro, with the Franco-Swedish PRV V6 engine and a brushed stainless steel body, the DMC-12 was supposed to be a huge success in the United States. The production started in 1981 but was difficult, expensive and relocated to Ireland. The experiment ran short for this coupe immortalized in the movie "Back to the Future." This miniature is a re-release.
