Austin-Healey 3000 (Cararama) 1:43

The 1959 MG 3000 is an updated version of the 1953 100 series, whose 6-cylinder is increased from 2.6-litre to 2.9-litre, while the design remains unchanged. Cararama does not specify which model it reproduces, but it is obviously a 1961 MK II. That same year, the 3000 received a vertical grille, but it is only in 1962 that the (slightly) wrap-around windscreen appeared.

It took advantage of variants for racing, including this Sebring, a coupé designed in 1960 and driven by Stirling Moss, among others. According to sources, 6 to 8 units of the Sprite Sebring were manufactured.

Before becoming the famous 3000 in 1959, and even before receiving a 6-cylinder (the 100/6, in 1956), Austin Healey's small roadster was released in 1953 under the simple name 100, equipped with a 2.7-litre 4-cylinder. Here we have the first version, the BN1 with a 3-speed gearbox. From 1955, the BN2 will get one more speed.

Austin Healey 3000 ivory/grey (Vitesse) 1:43

The 1959 3000 was an evolution of the 1953 100 series. This Vitesse reproduction is a 1961 MK II, with a vertical-barred front grille and a wrap-around windscreen. Note the small anachronism: the front turn signals are separated from the visible nightlights that actually appeared after 1965, a year after the window deflectors.
