AC Cobra 289 (Norev) 1:18

AC Cobra 289 dark red (Norev) 1:18

This British roadster, whose origins date back to 1953, became an authentic sports car in 1962, after the intervention of the American pilot Carroll Shelby (who died in 2012). The AC was then renamed Cobra and first received a Ford 4.2-litre V8 (260 ci) and a 4.7-litre (289 ci) from 1963, on the version here reproduced by Norev in 1:18 scale. From 1965, the engine was a 7-litre (427 ci).

AC 378 Zagato 2012 (NEO) 1:43

In 2009, the South African company Perana introduced the Z-One, designed by Zagato. The project came back in 2012, under the name of the British brand AC, historically specialised in Cobras. This nice coupe, which borrows its V8 from the Corvette and was to relaunch AC, was finally not produced. The project was abandoned because of a manager whose financial past was questionable.

AC Ace red (NEO) 1:43

Thanks to Carroll Shelby’s intervention in 1962, this nice barchetta with a tubular chassis could be equipped with a big V8. But as soon as 1953, the Ace already had the same lines. Actually, the career of this pretty two-seater started with a 2-litre 6-cylinder engine developing 100, then 120 hp. It is particularly well reproduced by NEO since July 2012.
